One evening while guiding at Nieland Bay, Gayle Renner and I decided to do some fishing not too far from the lodge. We hadn’t been fishing all that long, when she hooked a small Laker, maybe 4 pounds or so, and as she was bringing it in, I saw a large shadow pass beside the boat.
