I’m pretty sure that anyone who has visited Great Bear Lake, either as an angler, guide, canoeist, naturalist, prospector or whatever, has a story to tell, and in this section we are going to be featuring your short stories or anecdotes - and by "short" we mean about 500 words or less.
For example, share your thoughts on seeing your first Muskox, Caribou or Barren Ground Grizzly, a memorable shore lunch, catch, or boat ride – for that matter anything at all, whether funny, sad, curious or inspiring.
If you happen to have a picture(s) to accompany your story, please include it, because as we all know, a picture is worth a 1000 words!
We look forward to publishing your stories, because they play a critical part in keeping those very special memories, about a very special place alive…
